Investing in Education
Every child deserves an education that gives them the opportunity to succeed. That’s why Kwani secured major investments in childhood education, including universal Pre-K, free breakfast and lunch for all students, and expanded childcare tax credits.
Expanding Access to Health Care
No family should have to choose between bills and getting the care they need. Kwani is fighting to expand insurance access and lower prescription drug costs for all New Yorkers.
Lowering Taxes for the Middle Class
Everyone knows that Long Island families are overtaxed. Kwani passed landmark legislation reducing taxes for the middle-class to their lowest rate in 70 years.
Putting People Over Politics
Kwani is an independent leader and has no problem standing up to his own party. As our Assembly Member, Kwani puts Long Island families first - not party leadership or special interests.
