Judy Griffin

An Assembly Member Who Fights For Long Island Families

Assembly Member Judy Griffin is a PTA member, Girl Scout leader, and mother of four who knows firsthand about the struggles facing Long Island families.

In the State Assembly, Judy has fought tirelessly to lower costs for the middle class and support community priorities, including investing in education, expanding health care access, and protecting our clean water supply.

Judy puts Long Island families first and is committed to delivering lasting results that make life more affordable for everyone.

Judy’s Priorities:

Protecting Health Care Access

While the federal government has worked to strip away New Yorkers’ health care access, Judy passed legislation to lower prescription drug costs and expand insurance coverage, ensuring no one has to choose between bills and receiving care.

Investing in Our Schools

As a mother of four, Judy knows how important it is for children to get a quality education. That’s why she fought for Universal Pre-K, free school breakfast and lunch, and expanded childcare tax credits.

Ensuring Safe, Clean Drinking Water

New Yorkers shouldn’t have to worry about the quality of their drinking water. Judy secured an additional $25 million investment in clean water infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable water for Long Island families.

Cutting Costs for the Middle Class

Between taxes and rising utility bills, Long Island families are getting squeezed. Judy passed legislation that cracks down on unfair utility hikes and lowers taxes to their lowest rate in 70 years.
