The Right Priorities for Western New York
Delivering for Working Families
Bill Conrad is a lifelong Tonawanda resident, educator, coach, and father of four who has spent his career helping Western New York families and building stronger communities.
After teaching social studies in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda public schools for 21 years, Bill brought that experience to the State Assembly. He understands the challenges facing local schools and working families, and he is focused on lowering costs, strengthening public education, and ensuring Western New York gets its fair share.
Bill Conrad believes government should give working families the tools to succeed, not allow powerful interests to keep driving up their costs.
Bill’s Priorities:
Investing in Western New York Schools
An educator himself, Bill secured major investments in Western New York schools and delivered increased funding for our public schools.
Giving Every Child a Strong Start
Bill helped deliver universal Pre-K and free breakfast and lunch for every student across New York, ensuring children can arrive at school ready to learn.
Cracking Down on Unfair Utility Rate Hikes
Bill knows utility companies are taking advantage of Western New Yorkers. That is why he passed laws to crack down on unfair rate hikes and hold utility companies accountable.
Putting Western New York First
Bill has worked to ensure Western New York receives its fair share of state investment, strengthening local infrastructure, public safety, and the community services families depend on.
